Lonely Light

Most of the places George R.R. Martin describes in his books, are variation of our own worlds history. Doing reattach always pays out, and it´s worth studying our real map and see which island groups are existing which might be connected with the islands in the story. I fact there was a stoney little formation that got my attention. In the west of Scotland, there is an unreal island named „Bass Rock“. The island is taken over by 10 000 mockingjays , which made the island white over the years. This description suits „loney light“ very well. All these aspects are puzzle pieces from which I out together the painting.
